Our Search Engine Packages include the following features:

Keyphrase Research- using sophisticated analysis tools, we work with you to develop the ideal set of keywords to use for promoting your site. We examine the content of your site and the contents of your competitors' sites. Then we cross reference these keyword search phrases against several industry databases of the most popular search terms used on each of the major search engines.

Recommend visual and non-visual changes to your site pages to optimize them for all your keyphrases and to improve your rankings. In addition to keywords other important page components are page titles, descriptions, text, labels, file names, picture names and more... We will usually ask you to add several additional pages to your site.

Directory Submissions to Yahoo, Looksmart and Open Directory. See the section on Directory Submissions for more information.

Monthly reports showing all your current search engine listings. All packages include six months worth of reports. Weekly reports are available.

Submitting your pages to the search engines in strict accordance with the anti-spam guidelines established by each of the engines.

NOTE: Results from our work is dependent on the cooperation of the many search engines and directories we submit to. It is not uncommon for ranking results to take 30 to 100 days before they appear.

All of our search engine positioning packages include a guaranteed number of Top-25 rankings. Each time a search for one of your keyword phrases results in one of your listings appearing in the Top-25 of one search engine, that is considered a Top-25 ranking. Until our search engine positioning guarantee is met, we will continue to re-optimize and re-submit your pages without charging you any maintenance fees. Once the guarantee is met, then additional search engine positioning becomes billable.

In addition to our search engine positioning fees, some of the search engines and directories require payment in order to accept your site into their indexes.

Note: These fees are optional and not included in our standard setup fee

Inktomi - $40 for each page submitted. Inktomi provides search results for MSN, HotBot, AOL, Overture and over 100 other search engines.

Altavista - $30 for each page listed. Although Alta Vista also offers a free submission method, you will get much faster and better results using their paid submission system.

Yahoo - $475 annually. This is a "must have".

Open Directory - free - This is a must!

Maintenance updates are completely optional.

You can order a maintenance update through search engine positioning whenever you feel that it's necessary or for best results, you can have us update all your pages every month. When you order a maintenance update, we may provide you with a brand new set of all your keyword phrases, completely updated for the current search engine algorithms. We offer a 10% discount off the maintenance fees if you prepay for six months and a 20% discount if you prepay for one year. Our search engine positioning maintenance fees do not begin until after we have fulfilled our guaranteed number of placements.

Directories

Directories such as Yahoo and Looksmart and Open Directory (DMOZ) are different from search engines because they are edited by humans, not spidered by computers. Therefore, the typical search engine positioning strategies do not work with the directories. Instead, we offer a search engine positioning consulting service in which we work with you to make minor changes to your existing website. Directory submissions are included as a standard feature in all of our search engine positioning packages. However, if you only want directory submissions, search engine positioning offers that as a standalone service as well

Paid Placement - Make no mistake. Totally Free Internet Advertising with the search engines and directories is all but over!

What does this mean? It depends on your targeted market. Let me explain. If you sell popular products and services to the world or North America then your advertising cost just went up because search engine pricing for popular keywords which target these areas can be pricey, but then so are the current alternate advertising vehicles.

There is good news. If your target market is a specific geographical area like Canada, Toronto, Calgary or Vancouver, etc. there is a golden opportunity waiting for you here. You see 99% of Canadian companies who target Canadian soil with their products and services don't know yet that they can buy cheap Internet advertising that targets their market for as little as $1.00 per week. How do we know? We use these services. Contact our office for details.

If a search engine facility is popular they usually charge for top placements. If they don't, they will soon. A Paid placement variation call Pay Per Click (PPC) is used by Overture -http://www.overture.com/ (used to be GoTo) and FindWhat http://www.findwhat.com/ and many other sites. You can purchase either a top rank or prominent listing for particular search terms. The listing may or may not be identified as a paid advertisement. Some search engines and directories charge a flat fee while Overture uses a pay per click system.

Google Adwords http://adwords.google.com/ is another form of paid advertising placement that can be very reasonable if you target just Canadian surfers. Thanks Google for providing that option!

At search engine positioning paid placement but it is not part of our regular services. We have several plans available at monthly charges to manage your Internet Marketing Paid Placements and we are good at it. In fact this method of advertising is probably how you found us.

Link Building

Link popularity is a critical element of any search engine positioning campaign. Simply put... the search engines will rank your site higher is they determine your site is popular. They make this determination by counting how many links there are to and from your site. However it's not quite that simple. You see the search engines also rank the quality of the link. For example they place higher value on links that are relevant to your industry. They also place higher value on links from extremely popular and important sites. So if you know Bill Gates and can get him to create some links from his site to yours... Well I'm sure you get the picture.

Be warned!!! There are sites available on the Internet that sell links to your site. The search engine call these sites "Link Farms" and they know who the Link Farms are. Now and more so in the future search engines ignore or penalize you for using Link Farms. Yes they can actually do more harm than good.
